A 1/16 3D printed conversion for Das Werk Sd.Kfz. 251
Looks great ! Except the ammo with exagerated ribs on the shell : driving band and case: It must be smooth. Also at that stage of war, the Hollow Charge shell HL Granate 38 HL/B or C was widely used !
As understand it, this conversion kit was measured directly from the 251/9 in the then Patton Museum Collection. Painstakingly restored by the Patton Volunteers.
I believe that if I wait, Das Werk will probably produce this variant in the next 12-24 months. I think it’s one of the more popular variants. Meanwhile, I’ll just wait for the 251/21 drilling or the 251/23 with the universal turret (2cm + mg) or the 2cm w/schwebelafette.
Is there anyone out there that has or is actually assembling this kit. I have it, as well as the Sd.Kfz 251/1 for the conversion Any assistance would be greatly apprciated!
