As the title says, looking for suggestions for pavn uniforms from the 1970 -75 time period

PAVN uniform was based on the PLA Type 65 Standard, so would recommend using FS34102 “ Green”, but as the uniforms are washed/weathered, add tan colour to tone down the green as desired.

I’m not an expert on NVA uniforms, but in 1970, I recall seeing what appeared to be new uniforms that were a green color as mentioned above. Others that showed more use had taken on a sort of a “green fading to khaki” color. Just to make things interesting, some in the Quan Loi area looked more of a brown/green, but the soil around there was decidedly reddish brown, so any troops operating in the field would be constantly in contact with that soil/water/mud. Older uniforms looked khaki. Hope this helps a little.
