Planning on doing a 1/700 Kaga launching her second wave of aircraft at Pearl Harbor. Numbers I find are 6 X A6M2s and 26 X D3As. Accurate? Also were all spotted on deck or were some of the D3As below deck and brought up as deck space opened? (And where would the aircraft begin their take off roll , in relation to tower or deck markings?)
Per Tulley’s Shattered Sword, IJN practice was to have all of a wave on deck prior to launch. I’d look in that book and duplicate what he shows.

Packed! Good thing planes aren’t male/female. Might have a few more take off than came up from the hanger deck.
