Hello!

These are most likely markings on the parts from which this clothing was sewn. That is, these are working marks that have no bearing on the finished product.

They were made with a simple graphite pencil.

The markings identifying a specific service member (this should be a small plywood tag with the soldier’s name) were sewn onto the cover in which the protective suit was placed.

I see, thank you for your answer. I learned from the Encyclopedia of the Soviet Union that the military would draw some markings on chemical protective clothing. The Zashchitnyy plashch OP-1 uses a green outer lining in summer and a white inner lining in winter, which led to a misunderstanding.

No German? The white numbers probably just ID the owner, either individually or as the team number for the “team medic.” Seems plausible as it’s done in the US.

Actually, before I asked questions, I only used Russian. Later, some respondents suggested that I use more languages because there may be respondents who give up answering due to language barriers. Therefore, I used AI to translate my questions into the official language of the United Nations. German is not one of the six official languages of the United Nations, so AI cannot translate it into German. As for whether there will be language users outside of the six languages, I have a friend who lives in Kaliningrad Oblast and I met him through Russian, but he mainly speaks German and he also knows English, so I believe that most people will master at least one official language of the United Nations.

Then there’s your answer, I’m sorry I don’t think it’s convincing. I think he is not a number at all, but more like the handwritten Russian letter ‘Б’. As for whether it has a recognition function, I am not sure.

ChapGPT will not only translate written German, it will talk to you in German if you want. Even with a nice female voice if that’s your thing. I use it all the time.
On a bus in Korea headed for the JSA a dude asked me why I spoke so many languages. I told home to speak the language of the places we might have to “liberate.” Being from Switzerland, he was not amused. So for me, UN don’t mean $#!+.

Judging by the fabric, this isn’t a military bag. However, it was sewn according to the pattern established for the Armed Forces (post-war). The number, not painted (in military units, it was usually etched with bleach), could represent any inventory number, as noted above.

I did not study it. I saw what looked like a “2” and went from there.

Even if it is a ‘Б’ that still works, just like most places I imagine. For instance - for us, Alpha team; Bravo team, soldier number, bag number, whatever. We number things like that all the time.
We also use colors or shapes. These are just two examples from the two tuff boxes I could access that weren’t buried underneath motorcycle parts:

Now that should be clear as mud.

I’m sorry, but I still don’t think this looks like the correct answer. It seems more like speculation without solid evidence. What I’m asking for is a specific meaning. However, I still appreciate your response.

I just hope that people no longer have language barriers and can communicate better with each other.

The number “76” in the frame could be a production batch number.

Possibly the year of manufacture.

In any case, it’s a factory stamp, placed before the item was shipped to the armed forces.

29-47, handwritten, is also some kind of work marking.

The military tag on the case should look like this (or something similar)
