Photos of HMMWV M1097 Cargo/Troop Carrier from Desert Storm?

I’m interested in the photos of Cargo/Troop Carrier HMMWVs from Desert Storm. I haven’t found many.

BTW, I’m not sure if M1097s were fielded in Desert Storm… were those older M998 Humvees? If so, what is the difference between the two. Can ICM M1097 be used as a Desert Storm vehicle?

For Desert Storm, that should be the M998 variant. HMMWVs had only come into service in the mid 80’s and were still fairly new across the armed forces at that point.

Tamiya M1025 would be a better starting point then?

Am I right in believing M1025 is the same timeframe as M998 and built on the same lighter suspension while M1097 is a heavier variant developed after 1991?

AFAIK, the differences between M998 and M1097 are not relevant in scale, You sure can use the M1097 kit as a M998.

Thanks Hermann. I Googled a bit and compared photos of the M998 and M1097… besides the slightly different suspension the only really noticable difference would be the rear bumper.
