Polaris Dagor A1

This is the version of the quad I built. A more interesting version would probably be with a minigun , but let it remain such an option

Looks great! Is that the 1/35 Polaris Dagor A1 3D printed kit off of eBay?

Can you please tell me what figures and accessories you used? Did you use decals for the Multicam? Did the figures fit right in or did you have to modify and convert them?

I have similar aspirations for a 1/35 Polaris Dagor A1 project myself. Thanks.

Very nice! The figures look really good in the vehicle.

The OCP looks brush ainted and I like the colors. What paints do you use?

Yes-this is a model from Ebay. The figures are from Magic Factor. They fit perfectly, without adjustments . The camouflage is painted. I used 7 colors. Below link is the “methodology”

Ah, thank you for the answers! I thought that the figures were 1/35 Live-Resin as I didn’t recognize them at first.

@Maki -OCP- I painted this …probably a year ago. It was lying in a box waiting. I don’t remember what paints I used.

@Makinen Did you buy their 1/35 3D printed RZR from eBay or any of their other products, and if so, can you please comment? :grinning:

@Trisaw - 1:35 POLARIS dagor A1 ultra-light tactical vehicle special forces airborne | eBay
Link attached. I received the model …already glued - ie printed in full . Quality very good, but not perfect. The model was cleaned of print elements. I recommend as an interesting proposition on the model market.

Nice work. Question: Would it be able to carry enough ammo to make a minigun worthwhile? Without snapping axles and the likes?

Beautiful kit. But I want the 1-1 scale version :joy:

The DAGOR A1 exists to carry a squad of nine soldiers before the GM Defense Infantry Squad Vehicle came into service.

If it’s heavy enough for a .50 cal, can they mount a TOW on it?

I don’t know, but I do know that I haven’t seen any Polaris DAGOR A1 mounting a TOW…there are no photos online from my search.

The purpose of the Polaris DAGOR A1 is to transport nine soldiers (a squad) into battle, not to be a tank hunter.

The Polaris DAGOR A1 isn’t the Flyer Defense 72. Flyer 72 (or 72-inches wide. There is also a Flyer 60, or 60-inches wide) is for Special Operations Forces (SOF) and can mount a CROWS-Javelin. The SOF Flyers often travel in pairs so they might have less of a need to transport nine soldiers in one vehicle. Also, Flyer 72s can come with a windshield and armored doors unlike the DAGOR A1. The only source of the Flyer 72 that I know of is the Blackdog resin kit, and even then, the Blackdog kit might not be totally accurate.
