Polish interwar trainer from my home town - 1:72 RWD-8

Hello everybody!

Some time ago I got an IBG kit for Christmas. It was a 1:72 RWD-8, a Polish pre-war trainer and liaison aircraft. The kit only comes with one paint scheme, so I started looking for alternatives, and I’ve found out that an aircraft of this type was used before the WAR by the local aeroclub, not far from where I live (Poznań). One of its pilots back then was a female flyer, Wanda Modlibowska, who is now the patron of our aeroclub. So I decided to build it so, and I got custom decals from a friend, who sadly passed a few months ago. The blue paint scheme is somewhat hypothetical, and was a theory of my late friend (result of BW photo analysis), so that build is also a kind of a homage to him. So here are the photos:

Hello everybody!
Modellers in Poland are never happy with other people’s results… They talked me into working on the prop some more, so I “sharpened” it and painted it again. Now it looks like this:

In the next photo I have some funny glare on the trailing edge:

Thanks for looking and have a nice day
