A prominent feature of this cab is the radiator mesh grill, it came out well, messing it up with glue was a major concern but it came out clean.
Sterling work here; a bit of a beast, but then these trucks were big.
Not my scale
otherwise there would be one in my hoard
Here are some in 1:48, there are 1:35th out there as well ~ Scale Truck Models from ASAM Models.
This model is just about done, soon ready for some pictures outside in direct sunlight ( the harshest judge of a finished model ) ~
That thing is awesome!
Looks amazing Tim. I have a 1/4 complete Bedford somewhere in the stash. I should see if I can find it and bring it back to the desk.
cheers
Michael
The outside shots look real from some angles. Excellent work. I think I’ve ridden in one of these with the TA back in the 70s, they were still using them to tow Bofors guns (upgraded with electric power from a generator and radar). Does that sound possible?
Wow! Outstanding results! I’d swear from those photos that is a real 1:1 truck. That looks like the real deal. Excellent model.
Nice job - thanks for sharing. If the Matador reappears is there one in your future?
That’s a nice piece of work there - outstanding, and the daylight pics make it moreso. Great work.
Ironically RDT, I found one for sale in the UK, its on the way ~
Thanks very much everyone, its that sort of encouragement that keeps us all creating something, isnt it ~
