Puma Combat Engineer vehicle reference

The Puma (Hebrew: פומ"ה פורץ מכשולים הנדסי) is the backbone of the Combat Engineer Corps ( חיל ההנדסה הקרבית, Heil HaHandasa HaKravit). It a heavily modified Centurion hull with new engine, Merkava Mk2 suspension and a low armored superstructure. Over the years some vehicles have reveived upgrades to the armor modules and are referred to as Puma Batash, the vehicle uses a reinforced style of track called batash track and there is also the option of a “doghouse” for the superstructure.
