PzKpfw 38 Ausf. E/F

Hi!
I’m searching for inspiration - is there any painting scheme of Wehrmacht/ Waffen SS Pz 38 Ausf. E/F not in Panzergrau ?

Some made it into dunkelgelb if they survived long enough.

But are any photos of this version in Dunkelgelb camouflage ?

Bundesarchiv Bild 101I-277-0825-31, Russia, 1944. Can’t tell which model it is, likely a G, as it lacks the smoke discharger box on the rear and the Notek light is moved to the mudguard.

Too grainy to tell, lacks bow MG, maybe a reworked early model, but 38(t)s on armored trains commonly had 3-toned schemes after the switch to Dunkelgelb.

Vehicles were repainted in Dunkelgelb for Kursk, since the open fields of summer grass would not hide dark gray vehicles for long. Panzer Divisions 12, 19, and 20 were present at Kursk and were all equipped with E/F models. Photos are hard to judge for several reasons: dust-covered vehicles are notoriously hard to distinguish their underlying colors especially in B&W photos; most Pz 38(t) photos are from the early war or are of mostly the same handful of vehicles like 522, 532, and 432; and most of the photos are not labeled as to the specific version so you have to weed out the versions you aren’t looking at.

This is how I painted the F that comes in Trumpeter’s Panzerträgerwagen kit, as per the paint scheme:

Maybe this will help, but due to the standard practice of upgrading vehicles during major repairs to the latest features, things get confusing. The lack of a turret ring and the addition of the bump stop indicates it is an early Ausf C.
Here is a page that identifies the major design changes;
