The styrene accounts for about 5% of the total cost of a vehicle. The research has been done. Many of the components can be repeated on multiple sprues so it shouldn’t cost as much to produce. But we know otherwise.

Reminds me of a saying: Everybody want to get big. Don’t nobody want to lift no heavy-ass weight.
Parallel: Everybody wants one. Not everyone wants to shell out the Kohle, or spend the time building it.
