Got this beauty of a little kit sitting in the stash, with some upgrades. I’d like to build it on a flying stand, so does anybody know how easy or hard it is to build the kit with the gear doors closed? Are there any pitfalls I need to be aware of?
It is easy.
Figure out the shape of the stand (if any) and then work out the balance. Many people use a common clear acrylic rod and base. The rod can be gently heated to form a bend.
Thanks guys. The flying stand is sorted, I was mostly interested in closing the gear doors.
Building this kit now. I see no reason everything shouldn’t fit perfectly. It’s a very well engineered kit.
