Apologies if this has been asked & answered previously. What is the general rule of thumb about the hull mud scraper on M1’s? Usually fitted? Now & then? Role equipment based on terrain & & environmental conditions?

I’m not sure what you mean by a mud scrapper? Can you show a pic?

There is an angled bracket that can be bolted to the hull just forward of the rear sprocket hub. I have DML & RFM kits which show fitment of this or a blanking plate

If you are doing either of the Australian versions (AIM SA or SEP V3), we only have had the blanking plate fitted.

As an additional person with a vested interest in this topic (got a SEPV3 waiting) I’d also like to know how common this is on American Abrams’, when it’s used or when the backing plate is!
