I have this figure kit in 1/16 scale, but I never took the parts out of their bubble wrap to fully inspect them, nor have I ever assembled the sniper with tripod yet. It looks totally awesome!
I didn’t know that the tripod legs were cast in resin.
Thank you for the review, Mario, great photos as always!
I have this figure in 1/19 (I am trying to cut back on the number of figures I buy by going large… not working very well, this is my seventh of AM’s and I am getting the WWII German radio operator), the casting on the big guy is incredible, with hollow legs and waist, and the torso, too. I’d taken images for a review over on planet figure - for all your figure needs, just haven’t got to it due to demands at home.
Mario, are you going to do a blog on this? I want to go USSS Counter sniper and a full black figure. As Trisaw pointed out, I’d need to remove the strobe IR from the top of the helmet.
I really like this one and putting the primer coat at the moment. However, I’m not sure if I’ll start with the painting yet… too many project already on the bench.
