Mantis Miniatures released an interesting new figure set, accessories & animal set.
The pair of them would look good standing next to a pile of dismembered zombies…
Cheers,

“Rednecks” my butt….. Look more like “Football Hooligans”!!!
Not quite sure what this vehicle/figures have to do with “Armor”.
Because no self respecting redneck would forget to “armor” his truck with hillbilly armor - perhaps old police vests attached to the door panels, and hung over the seats for instance,
I wouldn’t stop there. With 3D printing and scaling, it should be a lot faster to make new figures and kits such as:
“Armor” is bit of a (misspelled) misnomer as the forum covers all military vehicles including supporting arms, civilian vehicles in military use and “militarised” vehicles improvised by both regular and irregular forces such as “technicals”. The assemblage displayed above equates to the latter in the early stages of a possible forthcoming U.S. Civil War…
I wouldn’t be surprised - General Discussions / Off-Topic Shenanigans - KitMaker Network

Yes, the necks are much redder in the north. They can do pretty much everything a southern redneck can do, plus haul fish out a frozen lake, dig a snow cave to survive a blizzard, and snowmobile to the Piggly Wiggly when they’re out of Quick Start for their truck.
I get the zombie hunter vibe but would much rather have Daisy Duke and where is the gun rack for the back of the cab?
Thanks for the humorous (and the dystopian) replies to my question about this product.
Probably because they are in 1/35 scale and not an automotive scale like 1/25 or 1/24.

Cooler with Budweiser and PBR.
True, true
I doubt if they stereotyped other groups in society that everyone would be as accepting of a kit like this. I am not someone who is easily offended, but this offends me, for a number of reasons.
Ouch! Good point…
The line between discriminatory stereotypes and caricatures intended to be humorous can be a thin one easily overstepped. As an Aspie my attempts at witticisms frequently misfire, although nowadays less often with the unfortunate consequences that attended them when I was a youthful drunk…
I don’t socialise much these days, and then generally when hosted by friends who will give me a heads-up when other guests may have particular sensitivities and I need to be on my best behaviour… Thus, on reflection, I can understand why you might be offended and respect your right to call out the offense. That being said, I have been known to play up to the stereotype of the “Flat-Cap-and-Whippets” Northern English working-class male, perhaps because essentially that’s what I am…
Regards,
M
From my local experience they should be a bit heavier and one if not both wearing Crocs. But that’s NW Georgia. Perhaps these folk are from Mississippi?
Offensive?. To Americans maybe yes. But it is a cultural stereotype widely known worldwide. In fact a stereotype invented by and promoted by the USA, plus to work it presumably has a basis in reality. Guns and alcohol and murdering animals,
Some may consider it admirable to be able to laugh at yourself… just a thought.
Red necks, white socks, and Blue Ribbon beer.
Looks great. I just miss Woody Harrelson or Bill Murray!
