If the dog is separate, the mom can be holding bags of groceries or other items.
The kids could also be used for superhero and fantasy Savior hero figures.
The carried canine could be an Irish Setter pup, so lets give him a suitably Celtic name: Ryan (“Little King” = Prince?). The family could be fleeing because they have been told their pet must be castrated (hence the anxious expressions on all the faces, including the mutt). The vignette could then be entitled “Saving Ryan’s private parts”…
