Removing tape residue from clear canopy

I left the masking tape on way too long and now I have a couple of places with some tape residue marring an otherwise nice job on the canopy. I’m thinking I can clean it with just water on a q-tip (cotton bud) or microbrush, but thought I’d ask before I try.

Odorless mineral spirits- dampen a q tip with it

Yes, this or possibly lighter fluid. Water won’t do much to that adhesive.

Methelated spirits should be OK. Cheers.

Another option would have been Eucalyptus oil and you would have the cleanest smelling models on the block :smile:
