RFM Challenger 3

I just noticed this in a moment of sheer idle browsing on the Tracklink site:

Presumably, joy to some…?

I sort of agree - I’ve always wanted to do a couple of Sov mine-breaking/clearing devices; they were made much of when I was serving, conceivably (and obviously) as they would lead any advance.

FB are suggesting it’s an AI fake
Time will tell.
Update

It’s legitimate

I suspect Facebook would.

Newlands Models produce an accessory/update kit which achieves the same effect.

I have conversion kit and the additional armour set.
And the RM CH2 kit

Looking very good; any colour schemes in mind yet?

Not yet, probably end up green and black
Like the latest Megaton or the very early ch1 tiger ish

Well, I still prefer CR2 with the brilliant L30A1 Charm gun … … And a British tank designed and partially built by Germans … Who’d have thought lol

I get the RFM CR2 TES version first before this one …it can wait

The tank will get Telford armour, so why do they need ERA?

Well being an old scrooge that was about to take the plunge with Newlands stuff coming in around £140 if this is around the £60 mark hay ho:ok_hand:

If they are using TERA and TEPA, it is just another added layer of protection to assist and prolong the base layer.

Even going back to Cr1, the Cobham armour was only good to take 1 direct hit, 2 if you were really really lucky, then that impact area basically becomes the critical weak point and would need to be replaced.

Has he been fielded? If yes, which regiment? Will look good next to my Cr 2.

My interpretation of the RFM model equipped with MILES gear as was seen at JMRC Hohenfels.

Any idea of the release date?
