RFM T-55A build

I have not built the Takom kits yet (I have three) but they could not be better than this kit.

I traded my MiniArt to James (Petition2God) for a Dragon M1A2 after getting this kit. I am definitely building it next.

Got the spare ammo boxes on.
Wish there was a option for empty ammo brackets in the kits.

Finished up the outer wheels.
They have a large raised seem that needs to be sanded down.

Don’t sand it all off, leave a light seam. Russian molded tank tires have that seam.

True, but my question is how quickly does it wear down in use?

That’s a good question, which I don’t have an answer for.

True, but I don’t think you’d see it in 35th.

Heres a wheel and I think RFM got the lines a bit heavy. Camp Dodge, Iowa

Oh, I agree that the seam lines are heavy on the kit, same wih the Meng T-72 and T-90 kits; like i stated before, sand them down, but IMO, not all the way off. YMMV.

You might notice that I mistakenly cut off the searchlight conduit earlier and now it’s been replaced.
