For everyone else that cannot recall, maybe never built one before or that kit is not available build any Tamiya kit you can get your hands on. For this campaign I want to limit the choice to strictly Tamiya original boxings and not any kits they reboxed or someone rebox…

Have some time this weekend to modify to movie standards and fill holes on this project.
I cut the rear end off of this thing* that goes under the gun breech because it’s not seen in the movie.

Masking and painting to look like, trying to look like, 2D animation. Harsh black washes to TRY and look like ink on paper.

During final assembly I realized I painted only four of the eight hub caps. Looking at a reference prototype image I then discovered that it wont be a problem. I’ll put them on one side so it will at least look even.
