Hi Hugo,
interesting selection of themes. If you plan to go into modern US and NATO vehicles, I can
offer assistance in form of pictures and drawings. If you are interested, drop me a PM.
Best Regards
Hans-Hermann Bühling
P.S: There is a BIG gap in modern figures. Both NATO and US Forces. And especially GDR NVA.

The truck pictured below is a 4x2 Renault Galion :
with dual rear wheels and different front wheels (“artillerie” rims) like this one
The Galion had a bigger, 2.5 ton payload.

Here are some Galion drawings and dimensions
The standard wheelbase (as seen in the drawing) was 244 cm. A 324 cm wheelbase was available as well (as seen in the Vietnam picture).
I guess the “artillery” wheels are the same as the WW2 Renault AHN ones. Aftermarket sets are avaliable in 1/35th scale…

Hi Hugo,
Welcome! I saw your awesome modern figures and busts years ago.
Is your 1/35 M-Gator with US SOF figures going to release this year? I reserved one and I haven’t heard any news as to when it will be released when the other scales already have been.
Thanks.
Here you can see the dfferences between the 1000 kg Voltigeur, the 1400 kg Goelette and the 2.5 ton Galion
