Russia´s pry bar: T-90M Proryv 3 Model 2023 with add-on armor and dronejammer

This is my completed model of the latest T-90M variant of Russian armed forces. There are according to different sources just around 90 or so of these recently modernized machines at the troops disposition. Many different configurations can be seen at internet pictures: with and without add-on armor, with and without frontal dust shield, with and without cope cages of different styles and so on. I chose mine fully equipped with hard ERA blocks at the hull and soft ERA bags at the turret sides. At the back the tank also have reactive armor plates against pesky drones flying into the rear hull. My tank don´t have a cope cage but have instead installed the anti-drone jamming system “Volnorez” at the turret´s top. The “Nakidka” net, which, according to russian statements, has camouflage capabilities in the thermal imaging and radar spectrum, is still wrapped up and stowed at the rear turret bustle.

The original kit is Tiger Models T-90M model 2021 and to get the model into the newest configuration I used several upgrade sets from Miniarm (T-90M (mod. 2023) turret soft-case ERA and stowage, T-90M rear active armor set, antidrone jammer system “Volnorez”, metal case ERA model 2023 and T-90M model 2023 conversion + correction set).

The crew figures were old acquaintances from Evolution miniatures. I just added the RuAF and specific unit patches onto their anorak shoulders

The lenses at the finished model were added with SX-Art T-90M holographic film for better resemblance of real lenses

The unit patch with the white wolf head resembles the 242. mot. rifle brigade. The cyrillic inscription means translated “if not we, who then…”. I have no idea if this unit is currently still active and equipped with these brandnew vehicles but I liked it very much.

This is how the finished project looks like. It is still waiting for an acrylic encase which will come soon. It was a lot of fun for me to build this monster and I am very pleased with the outcome.

Spasiba for watching  :call_me_hand:

Wow- a comprehensive overhaul of the Tiger kit you’ve got there! How was the fit of the various Mini-arm products? I like the way you have the Nakidka stowed on the rear with some stowage- adds a nice bit of color interest besides the green. Your figure work is also top-class with nicely expressive faces and accurate looking uniforms. Plus you’ve got a really nice display for the piece too.

Karl thank you very much for your good words. Actually the fit of all Miniarm parts was good. Just the instructions at the 2023 conversion set was a bit sparse as you only got one picture of the vehicle from above and it was some guessworks where which parts have to be exactly positioned. But watching pictures here and at the internet of the real vehicles helped me a lot. :raised_hand_with_fingers_splayed:

I would really like to but never made this before. I tried to create a feature and got the report it is waiting for clearance. Maybe someone can have a look at it if I did everything right?!

It is now live on the site. One of the site admins has to look at a submission and make it live.

Wish we could get the T90 M state side.

Suberbly done!
Tank may appear a bit clean, but that’s a preference.
I like the different colour on the era, breaks it all up nicely. And I do the patch thing too with my tankbuilds. It adds a bit, I think.
