Rye Field 1991 Abrams

I assume it’s reasonably accurate, and I started on that as I’ve been working on the Tamiya M26 Pershing and man is THAT a headache! Try having to putty a million spots and smoothing them enough to look like the actual vehicle (which was roughly welded in a million places).

One question I have is, even though I am doing a Gulf War US vehicle, is that particular type the same as manufactured and used by Egypt?

It depends. Early on Egypt manufactured this type, but as the Abrams has advanced through new versions, Egypt has bought and builds them. Currently, Egypt is building M1A1HCs.

Well, nowadays they serve as Egyptian government offices! (In pre-1968 South Vietnam, the people made the same joke because of all the military coups that happened during that time.)
