Hello !

Nice new started model.

I do not have any Rye Field Models kits.

But the last announcement for a M-ATV with Qinetiq RPG nets is a good reason to purchase a first kit of this brand.

Thanks !
So far no problems, no issues.
Everything goes where it’s supposed to go, easily, instructions are easy to follow, simple, clear. ( Dragon should take a look how it’s done…)

Step 5 & 6 are done.

Started working on the engine too.

I have a question about the color on the engine is that the color that it calls for. The reason I am asking is I thought that they were CAT yellow. I have this kit in my cue and just want to clarify so I paint it right when I do it.

From my walkaround that I distributed Tuesday evening:

I have found Floquil’s UP Armor Yellow to be a very good match. I’m not sure if it’s srill available but other makers should offer it, UP being a somewhat wellknown railroad.

They don’t have a color scheme for the engine.
But thanks to this photo by 18bravo… I will repaint it.

No color schematics so far ( I’m at step 7 ).

But the kit is great, instructions, plastic, details.
The only issue is that being a “Full Interior” kit, it should have been more accurate with the colors. It just have a generic color layout of the finished model

Thanks for the photo, it will be really helpful .
I’ll have to check that walkaround !

The walkaround has all of the interior details you need as well. I may send nother batch at the end of next week if interest is high enough.

I think on the couple of Cat powered trucks I’ve built I picked up the sunflower yellow or something similar to that name from Tamiya and it worked out pretty well.
