Sad news from Commander Models, Inc

Hi All,

It’s sad to have to relate this to you, but over the past weekend, we were notified by his sister that Ted Paris, founder of Commander Series Models, passed away Easter weekend. He made me his partner, and was the driving force to resurrect Commander Models as an armor model manufacturer in the past decade. He gave me the chance to be a pattern maker for armor kits, and we had so many fun conversations on how to expand this madness we all enjoy. Ted was an avid member of AMPS, always kept the armor modeler in his business outlook, and was probably the best person to be a business partner I could have ever had. He will be missed.

Sorry for the loss Jon

Sorry to hear that as I spoke to Ted a number of times at the shows and he was a very nice guy. I still have some of his kits and will miss him at the shows.

R.I.P. My sincere condolences.

So sorry to hear this, I also heard about Ted and I was devastated. He gave me my first casting pot to start casting figures for my business. I will always remember the great trips him and I took to the Indian Casinos in Rochester and to watch him play in the band he participated in. I will miss Ted very much, he was an early icon in our resin industry. God Speed Ted, see you in Valhalla my friend.
