I’ve seen him post some 1/72 3D printed stuff on the late on FB.
I think he is changing from resin to 3D printed.

Started working on the front end and suddenly realised that the standard mount for the sand ladder was wrong. The SADF variant mounted the ladder the other way around. Some surgery is required to correct that oversight.
Forgot to mention that I had source new headights, as you can see they are mounted on top of the fenders for better protection when boonie bashing.
Till the next update.
One good source for headlights is leopard club.
I’m happy with my work on the sand ladder brackets.
Till the next update.
Nice work Gavin - just discovered this blog !
Cheers mate -RT
Just added the exhaust pipe, and front head lights. Both required a bit of surgery to locate.
Now just got to do the bush bars for the lights.
Till the next update.
Well, I think I’m done with the mods.
Added some plating on the side, located the water jerry can on the other side and mounted some tarp/cammo to the back of the turret. Fitted bush guards for the head lights. Fitted handles and a hinge to the storage bin fitted to the back of the turret.
Next is the undercoat and then paint and weathering.
Till the next update🖖🏼
It’s been a while, the weather is warmer and its time to throw some paint at the Noddy car.
Primer is down, used Tamiya fine surface primer, light grey. Did a bit if pre shading, which is something I should have done with the Rooikat. Anyway, things are moving forward. Not sure I’ll get more done before my weekend away and attending Tank Fest at Bovington this Friday.
Till the next update.
Very cool vehicle,I like the way its coming along
You do your preshading exactly the same way I do mine - really cool. Adding the first base layer over the top and seeing the shadows work is one of life’s great pleasures IMHO. Love it.
Pre shading came out nice
Looking good and some really nice extra detailing to bring it up a few levels.
I just hope I can do it justice. This is a major departure from my very simplistic approach for the Rooikat.
Great paint job so far.

Back up for some air. Did a wash and some mud, added the cabke/ rope to the spool and the .303 /7.62mm Browing is look great.
Till next time.
