You captured the Chaos quite Well!
The scale is 1/35.
1/35?? That must be a huge diorama, size of a dinnertable?
Will you build a second part of the US embassy with the row of people going up the stairs to the helicopter pad with a Huey embarking personal and civilians?

Got to echo all above comments! Simply outstanding ![]()

Maybe I’ll build it, but the picture with the stairs to the helicopter was not on the embassy.
Look at my homepage: www.matthias-schmeier.de
Yup, the Air America Huey was on top of an apartment building at 22 Gia Long Street, a half mile from the U.S. Embassy.
The last flight off the US Embassy was a USMC CH-46.
That’s quite an introduction! Great scene, great figures - let me add myself to the list of members who actually had great things to say. Looking forward to much more!
It is in 1/35.
Yeah…OK. It was the Pittman Building.

yes, you are right.
This is monumental! Like others have said, I keep coming back to it, and each time I see new things. Bravo
An absolute feast for the eyes- so much going on.
I seem to remember hearing there was a viet cong agitator with a bull horn outside the gate telling everyone that the Americans were deserting and leaving without them.
Also the embassy safes were emptied and the money was getting burned in a big pile, people ending their kids who were running around grabbing the burning notes as the floated down from the fire. The safes were closed and locked to “fool the gooks”.
One interesting thing to note was the shredded documents which were dumped into trash bags. the vietnamese over time put them back together which is why after shredding mine I thrn burn them.
Your website has so many amazing dioramas. Thanks for sharing on this platform. Very inspirational. Cheers.
