Wow, I haven’t seen a diorama with that many scale figures before in a long time, if ever.

It all looks really good on a subject that seldom has a figure model scene created for it.

Welcome to the forums with an outstanding showcase of a build :+1:

That scene is amazing …..Never seen so many figures in a duo before….. just the thought of painting all those is enough to get me into a straight jacket….

Great painting though and attention to detail with how the scene is set and all the movement and panic it shows. Superb :+1:

Wow, that is quite an extensive diorama and captures the feeling of the chaos of that moment in history. Great job!

Very interesting to see such a densely populated scene- you’ve packed every inch of it with detail!

My God! And to think I moaned about the 9 x figures I felt I had to do for my Munga(!)

Truly outstanding work.

Welcome!

This is amazing. Many of these pics required a double take. :open_mouth: :exploding_head:

Welcome, this is quite an entrance! You’ll correct me I hope, but I’m estimating around 300 figures? And at least 800 hours of work?

This would/should win First Prize in any show. It goes straight into my personal Top 3 dioramas of 2025. Such a defining moment in history, I can hear the choppers overhead.

Absolutely brilliant :trophy:

WOW. Just wow. The scope of effort of this diorama is amazing. A huge amount of work, all outstanding. The detail of each figure is excellent, but combined as a whole this is nearly inconceivable. I will be coming back to this numerous times just to take it all in. A Masterwork.

What an entrance! So much to see and meticulous details. Each person is a small story within a larger story.

My first thought was that it is HO scale. Preiser makes dozens of civilian figure sets that would be compatible with this kind of scene. And most of the vehicles there are not available in scales other than HO. Another possibility is 1/48, or 1/43.
