I ordered 4 things from scale hobbyist that all went together for a howitzer and halftrack vignette I planning. I got a shipping notice from scale hobbyist today and weirdly I said that 3 items shipped but not the half track. I find this odd as the site lists it as in stock.
I am now worried the halftrack is not actually in stock and is about to be cancelled. Two of the others items in my order are useless if I don’t have the halftrack.
Anyone seen scale hobbyist send two shipments before?
Yes. Sometimes I have ordered things and something was out of stock. He sent two orders one now one later. Just call him. He answers his phone during business hours.
Will do if I don’t see another shipping notice in a week or so. I’ve ordered from them about 15 times or so and had just never seen it, glad to hear it is sometimes normal
He will be in on Monday about 8:00 am Eastern.
Have had 2 shipments and of course delayed due to an item being in available vs in stock. But, have never had any issues receiving multiple shipments. They’ve always been very reliable. I expect you’ll get an update and separate shipping number once the halftrack ships.
They’ve always been A+ so I have no worries.
I feel a bit bad, I don’t need it urgently obviously, they could have waited to ship till they had everything in stock to save some time and money.
I received two different shipping notices but was actually the same shipment. It was just the way the notices were sent. I’ve purchased an order then the next day (prior to shipping notice) I ordered another kit(s). Then it looked like two different shipping notices but all was actually in the same box shipped.
