I love it.
But, is there a version of what you used to smell when your Lionel train made smoke under the Christmas tree?
They should package that as a deo …
Oooowwwwwww…
Okay, going to admit it. When we took our steam trip at the end of october, I did lurk around the locomotive taking in big deep breaths and holding it truck, trying to imprint it on my mind. I tried to be real subtle because I didn’t want to look like “one of those people” (which I am, but I just don’t want to look like one).
On the run back to St Louis, I think it was the first weekend of October in 2002, on Frisco 1522’s farewell excursion, I stood in the open (upper) door of a baggage car not far behind the engine trying to breathe in and imprint those smells and sounds. Doctors affect the sound of going through crossings, the stack talk of the locomotive going from field into built up areas, this way and rattled the track, so many things.
I logged in just so I can like this thread!
There is also a company that offers a large selection of scented “Smoke Juice” to use with you model steam locomotives.
Smoked Sushi?
