My late tried to scratchbuild the Scharnhorst in 1/200 scale about 25 years ago. He had scale plans of the ship. So far he build the hull and superstructure, but never came to details. At that time there was a company in Germany the made injection molded parts for Kriegsmarine. Main gun turrets, seaplanes, rangefinders and Flak. Sadly, he passed away before completing the model.
