I have the original release. Unfortunately the wheel faces, particularly the hubs and segmented rings are poorly representative of the real parts:
FC Model Trend’s AM set, the only others around, are no better:
If they fixed this, instead of adding a few weapon sprues, it would have been a praiseworthy kit.
I still love the kit generally, just wish for DEF or a quality manufacturer to do better wheels -with tyres.
