Hi, it has been some time since I have been here. I started working on Erwin Rommel’s command halftrack. Typical Takom kit with enormous parts, attachment points, over detailing (disputable, of course). An extreme example is front wheels to be built of 6 slices - tried and failed to recreate tyre pattern.
The detail level and complexity of the building forces me to build and paint the interior piece by piece. I have built an engine, but just for fun, as it will not be exposed. Another story with the gearbox shown on the photo. Basic painting is done, the next steps will be some post-shading and partial weathering, as it will be barely accessible later.
