Here you are my new project: a Dragon kit that I’m pretty sure it was released around 2003-2004. It´s been lying in my stash for all these years and now it´s the right moment to build it. I’ve chosen an unidentified unit (Hungary 1945-white camo) among the options given bay the maker.
It´s going to be a simple vignette with the vehicle, a couple figures and the corner of a small farm.
A couple of weeks ago I started with the farm building and this is what I got so far:

Well, last week I got this great looking 2023 kit from Dragon and said to myself: I’m already building a 251, why not double it up?
So the Ausf D with the 7,5 gun is on its way already primed. I´m also working on the scenery

251/9 is masked and waiting for the Olivegrün color and I’m currently working on the interior of the 251/17

Working on the river terrain for the 251/9. I’ve used styrofoam and real earth and stones over a Das clay layer; Ak´s Muddy ground is also there.

Made some progress today. The 251/9 camo was painted using Ammo Washable white camo mixed with a drop of Tamiya´s deck tan.
I´ve been using Ammo paintings for the last two years but never got good results…what a disappointment. I’ve tried with the brand´s own thinner, with Ak thinner and with Mr. Color leveling thinner. So I decided to come back to the old reliable Tamiya paints that I’ve been using since the 80´s.
Anyway, oil brushers and weathering products from Ammo work nicely for me. I’ve used Neutral wash over the camo painting.
Crew fighting cabin is going to be covered with a couple of blankets…

I´ve got three days off from work so let´s see if I can do some progress. Made some advances in both yesterday…

Now for the Ak water gel effects. One more figure is going to be placed on top of the small terrain slope.
