What did RAF Thunderbolt IIs use as a common load out in Burma? Looks like a pair of 150gal. tanks on the wing pylons and a 500 pounder on the centerline. (US or UK bomb? Seen 1 photo in SEA with US 500#. 1 photo of 73 sqn OTU, in Egypt with a UK 500#.) Did they use M-10 /M-8 rocket set up .(I know USAAF had them in the CBI.) AN- M-40 parafrags? AN-M-41 cluster bombs? Any other options? ( I saw a kit built with 500 pounders on the wing rack and a “flat” 200gal. tank on the centerline. Looks good, but I’m calling Mierda de caballo. As far as I know those were only made/used in the UK or Aussie built “Brisbane” tanks used in SWP.
