Well, I went to the IPMS Telford show with the intention of…buying no more kits!. Largely successful, but this was a must-have. On the IPMS Germany stand, a lovely 1:72, etched brass, kit of Otto Lilienthal’s Segelapparat No. 11 from 1894. Not many parts!. You get a “pilot” figure and a small base. Of course, it’s not going to be as easy at it looks. First question is what to use for the wing fabric, then there’s the bracing wires.
As a bonus in the first 50 kits is a 1:244 etched brass version of the Segelapparat.Sadly No pilot provided!.
