Man!, your paint lays down perfectly Venelin, no lumps or brush marks, beautiful camo representation, nice job as always!

Also this is a must for me when painting figures, especially the clothing. Gives a nice flat finish.

Indeed. That’s one of the things that sets this figure apart. Too many figures are ruined by an unrealistic sheen. Gunze was my go to but I may try the AK varnish, given how good it looks.

I have the Gunze also, but this is acrylic and does perfect job, and no smell

Ah, but the smell is what makes all of the better things in life worthwhile.

Ah - sideways ammo pouches. And nice painting too. Well done!

Nice photo, thanks! I could do the shirt more brownish like yours :slightly_smiling_face:

Or he’s wearing a very faded shirt. I had some like that. But I just noticed - if you can, turn the ammo pouches around so the openings are on the left. Mine are set up the way they are because I’m left handed. If you can’t, don’t sweat it. 99% of the population would never notice it.

The pouches are sculpted with the figure, so I can’t adjust them. Or I have to do some cutting, but I don’t want to ruin the figure. But thanks for the info!

That’s the best woodland camo I’ve ever seen.
