Opening a topic for this old model I have started time ago, I will have more time in the autumn and winter for modelling now the summer is almost over 
The old story with the DS tracks-disintegrated with oily residue on them, and now I have modern 3D printer I decided to use those very nice tracks from Faustus models on Cults 3D. Recently he updated the Sherman tracks and now we have a snap option which I like very much, so highly recommended.
