Was planning to use the kit tracks on the Dragon M51 but the DS tracks are too long even with the adjustable idler arm.
Not being well versed in all things Sherman, what type tracks are these and are there AM options available? The Dragon kit is based on a cast hull with the vertical volute suspension. That’s about the extent of my knowledge. Thanks.

DV, this may help identifying Sherman track type. Saw it on the internet etc.
Looks like maybe its a T80 track? Probably need a knowledgeable Sherman fan to confirm.
I think Fruilmodel makes a T-80 track link set.

I have Taymiya’s 1/35 scale M40 self-propelled gun, which is based on an M4 chassis with an HVSS suspension, and I want to replace the rubber band tracks with something better, like maybe workable tracks. Can someone recommend a good aftermarket kit for me? I believe the M40 chassis was actually modified by making it longer and wider than a standard M4 chassis. If that’s the case, hopefully that doesn’t make this too difficult.
