I just spent three days photographing several variants of the CH-53, including that one. Are you quite certain those windows are installed properly?
CCCCCCCCool pics !…Glad to see that you are worrying about the project ,It’s in a boneyard state and they are cover so you wont be able to see them
are you using after market decals and if so, what ones?
Oh, I’m not worried. Everyone gets to do what they want. But the windows are usually sealed from the inside, as on this one:

Understand. I’ve seen them up close. They still don’t have the hard, straight outline as above. But as I’ve already said, everyone can model things whichever way they want, as long as accuracy isn’t their top priority.
I think he is trying to simulate the ‘spraylat’ that they cover the windows with.
