Sleepy Hollow, the Headless Horseman

Vignette with a huge kit of polar lights: Sleepy Hollow, the Headless Horseman. It is a nice kit to assemble, but I made some improvements, mainly in the horse’s head, decapitated head and cape. The initial draft for the kit was this:

Of course, if I made a tree on the scale my wife would put me out of the house, so I made a smaller one remembering the tree in the movie. Using the head that came in the kit, I made a silicone mold and reproduced it in plaster, then sculpted different heads to put on the tree (whoever saw the film must remember the heads inside the change). The tree is a mixture of foam and epoxy mass. The base is made of foam, covered with plaster and on the sides, acrylic paste to give the aspect of bleeding. The leaves were cut with a paper cutter (I used real leaves here, because then the color and texture were already cooler)
