There are a couple details I want to point out that you may or may not have already seen.
The smoke venting out the back
One of the categories was “Bottoms up-Best Undercarriage” so this builder engraved the whole chassis then had it chromed

Smoke looks ok as I’ve always didn’t much care for the Cotton ball effect, but that chassis, hand scribed and then chromed. I’m assuming that it’s real chrome and not a Metallizer. Must have cost a pretty penny, but sure looks worth every cent.

Wow! Seeing models of this caliber as a youngster in Houston, TX is what made me want to get into this hobby. I would have hated being a judge in this competition, there is some incredible talent on display here. As much as I aspire to build this type of presentation I have to bow to the true masters collected here.
