Good morning, colleagues! I recently got a Primer (Grey Primer) from Mission Models. As I don’t have the solvent from the same brand, I would like to know which is the most suitable option to replace it.
Likewise, Mr. Surface 1000, whose packaging only has instructions in Japanese.
If anyone can guide me on this I would be very grateful.

@gemerim-
I’ve heard that lacquer thinner at 60/40 ratio of thinner/Surface is good enough for most airbrushes. IF you get spiderwebs, test at different pressures. Less thinner usually clogs in an airbrush is also anecdotal.
I’m about to try 500 Surfacer on a 3DP Abrams model. Oof.
Mr Color Leveling Thinner works well with Mr Surfacer.
Not familiar enough with Mission Model’s products to comment.
I’ll second the MrColor Leveling Thinner for the Surfacer.
And I third the Mr Color Levelling thinner for the mr surfacer 1000. Start at 50/50 and take it from there. And if you can get it, the mr finishing surfacer 1500 is as good as it gets, magic potion stuff with the levelling thinner.
Sorry, no clue about MM stuff.
Thank you very much, guys. I will try to follow your guidelines.
Thank you, Evan!
Very enlightening. Unfortunately I don’t think I will be able to use this product.
I didn’t invest too far as my LHS had trouble getting it in stock.
That said, anyone need any RAL colors from Mission Models?
