Some Fun with Older Model Kits: Stuarts and Such!

These days when I talk to myself I have difficulty in understanding what I’m going on about…

GTL, 2eme DB M3A3s

Finished up the M3 Stuart last night with the new decals and an after market antenna base.

I was a little bummed that the only M3 decals I could find were for the PTO but then I noticed that one set represented a tank that fought in the battle for the airfield on Kwajalein Island. Given that my Army Corps of Engineers niece did two tours on Kwajalein working for the missile test range there I thought that might work out just fine!

Talking to yourself is not bad. Arguing with yourself might be worrisome, but still ok. But, when you argue with yourself and lose the argument, you need professional help

Should read:

"No YOU didn’t.

For me anyway, It’s still a two party conversation even within your own head!)

Progress on the M20.
For a 30+ year old kit that’s some pretty good underbody detail.
~ All I found to add so far would be drain plugs to the differentials and brake hoses to the front wheel hubs.
~ Also planning on adding a little “picture frame” rough ground base to this model. (Not sure just how the base will be detailed.)
~ Working now on some figures to go with.

Which kit is it? Looks like all the M20’s came out at the same time.

The kit is Tamiya’s #35234 in 1/35th scale.
Still in production
