“the doll has got the loot”!

Looks like the guy on the left might be planning a double cross! Shoot his partner in the back and him and the doll run off with the loot. ha ha Wayne

Double crosser! Curses!

Some company, I can’t remember who, made some gangster cars years back. I remember building them and they came with weapons, bottles and other stuff. They were in black and maroon colored plastic as I recall. Anyone remember them and who made them? Wayne

“Gangbusters” by MPC, boxed by Airfix in the U.K., dated to the mid-1960s. Usually had a Police car option as well, decals, klaxon and spotlights. I had two Lincolns and the Chrysler Imperial saloon (also this last in a “stock” issue some years later, sans Gangbuster accessories). Recently acquired the 1932 Chrysler Imperial 8 Convertible coupe with the full “Gangbusters” extras as it has been re-popped by Round 2. I’ll probably get the new figures to go with it, they are available separately.

Cheers,

Were there only 3, the 27 and 28 Lincolns and the 32 Chrysler? I thought there were more. Somewhere I have part of the 28 that I found at mom’s house in a bunch of my brother and mine’s old kits. I looked them up on Ebay and there are a lot for sale, may pick them up for old time sake. It says they are 1/25th, so How well will the 1/24th figures AND car fit with them? Just curious. Wayne

That’s all I saw in the Airfix boxings, but Airfix issued only a limited number of MPC kits, and for a short time around 1967 (the Dodge Charger, Pontiac GTO and Ford Mustang fastback for that year).

I don’t know about the vehicles, but there’s sufficient variation in people so I think I’ll be O.K. with the figures…

Cheers,
