I’ll definitely consider it.
Gosh darn it I am a sucker for half tracks
I really like the look of that one.
So how many of these did the Germans actually modify and use ???
This is just the regular 3b with the later wooden cab. My search of images has, however, not produced any pictures of this particular combination. That’s not to say there aren’t any, I just didn’t find any. It’s really a cool looking vehicle. I’ll probably have to add it to the growing pile of stuff I’ll never build.
Elite / Militärmodellbau Mörs have done it in resin
Italeri have done or will be doing it but with a regular cab
Dragon will do it but with a heavier gun
Lighter AA-weapons could be added to any 3-ton chassis so why not a Maultier.
It would be nice to see a real photo of one though …
Base model has plastic tires, link and length tracks, and a decal for the instrument panel. Cab looks fairly easy to paint. According to ScaleMates, the Italeri model comes from ICM. At least one boxing of the wood cab version also includes the steel cab. Looks fun.
The Italeri kit provided their own, older mold of the gun. Icm just released a new mold of the gun and mosdef that is packed in the kit. The Dragon one is a Opel Blitz.
Yes, I know that the one from Dragon is an Opel Blitz without tracks.
The FlakAufsatzrahmen could be used on all truck beds of suitable load category.
All wheel or halftracks didn’t matter.
Well great, now that I bought the lorry version. Ah well. I gues I can still order the Flak separately.
That is only 50% correct. You can get the FlaK but you need to get the Flakaufsatzrahmen as well.
One or two ammo-trailers could also be a nice complement or maybe use the lorry version to carry ammo and let the Flak-wagen also tow an ammo trailer. FlaK-ammo tends to get used in large volumes …
