has any one on here ever built the 3d printed kits form SS models?
what is quality like?
I was thinking of getting one myself, but some of the images I saw online were not promising. Not all but several lacked detail or were rough looking. Based on what I saw I decided to wait and see if they improve over time or an alternative pops up.
I was interested in the Pz.Kpfw 38(t) Ausf A, although I suppose I could try to back-date a B.
IV got my eye on the Argentine Tam -2
and the arjune from indai and the turkish MBT look interesting too
What sucks is a lack of decals
I was looking at the Arjun as well. You can get the file here. I don’t have a 3D printer though.

I purchased their US M2 Medium tank a couple of months ago…… and stuck it in my stash. I haven’t even looked in the box
Edro
Their earliest models were pretty terrible with distinctive printing artifacts. Now they are much better. The thing I don’t like is that all hatches are printed shut, the resin used is brittle and very user-unfriendly, and make cutting open hatches a real risk to damaging, or ruining the model. On the other hand, they are reasonably well detailed, and generally cost less than a similar plastic kit.
Do a search on Missing Links. Lots of comments there on SS Models.
I have the SS Models IJA Type 92, the M2A1 Medium, and the M2A2 light. They are much better than you guys are describing. The printing is excellent, with no visible print lines anywhere. The models are highly accurate, with several being a 4.5 version, so they are all improved. The details are crisp and clear. I am very satisfied with my 3 purchases.
