Does anyone know what these are? Tamiya calls them Stowage cases from their kit but I have not seen them in any real pictures online. What do they store? Thanks in advance
They are powder cannisters for 155mm artillery. They are great for keeping rolled up maps in and are waterproof.
Same caliber, different propellant charge. the first one is white bag, the second (longer skinnier) is green bag and there’s 2 sets in one can

Yup, there are actually 3 different sizes for 155mm powder canisters.
On the left is Green Bag (charges 1-5, two bags per canister), in the middle is White Bag (charges 4-7, one per canister), on the right is Red Bag (charge 8, one per canister).
More powder canisters can be found in the AFV Club Howitzer Ammo set (AF35017). They are also in a few other acessory sets too.
The newer system is the MAC (Modular Artillery Charge) system. It comprises hard cased charge increments that you keep adding to get higher charges.

The canister looks similar but has squared off end caps to make stacking easier.
The newer MAC powder canisters (along with older ones) can be found in the AFV Club Propellant Containers for M109 A1 - A4 SPG set (AF35299).
We used those cases for holding our maps in the 70’s. They were the right diameter for us to strap into an ammunition holder in an M60A2(152mm)
