Love this kit for the TV, Hookah, and boombox. Only wish they did the front part (#4) of the TV in clear. May have to get some RTV and clear cast

Correct, but the front part #4 is gray styrene. If part #4 was clear as well, then an LED could be installed

Yes, but it looks like that clear panel is designed to be set into a solid gray front section of the TV. That part would have to be cut out to allow for an LED to do its magic.
