I have also designed the BFT antenna with its mount and the horn on the driver’s side.
There is also a third piece, I don’t know what it is so I can’t give it a name, which is on the left front edge of the engine deck.
There will be no more 3D printed parts; the other differences I see in the A1 version will be made the old fashion way: cutter, plasticard, san paper, glue.
At this point all the pieces of the A1 conversion set are ready;I have to make some small modifications and then it will be available for anyone interested in purchasing (see my previous post on how to buy).

I never got any good result with cutting and putty ECT.
Personally I admire people who can do such things.
3D printing and being able to design stuff myself is a god gift for me.

I’ve got several photos of the underside of the Stryker A1 Double V hull, DM me for details. I started this scratch build conversion several years ago, I may continue now that you have these components available.

Hi,
I remember your posts about scratch building the bottom of a Stryker DVH, it was this Armorama :: Stryker A1 DVH isn’t it?

Yes it was, I still have it and I may start working on it again, using the 3D printed upgrades.

There are only two companies that produce Stryker kits. And if it´s NOT Trumpeter…
A friend of mine does research for AFV Club but he is not allowed to talk.

I’ve done research for AFV Club in the past, and yes, they like to keeps things close to the vest. As does another company, who are definitely doing the DVH A-1 variations. That’s one of the reasons I’ve slowed my roll on some scratch builds - it’s a much better use of my time to just build a kit if its going to be available.

Same here, I love scratch building but if one is coming out then yes I’ll work on other things, the question is…When?

Model completed.
I decided not to weather it, assuming this vehicle had just been assigned to a field unit.
I didn’t attempt to replicate the double-V hull bottom; I figured this wouldn’t affect the model’s appearance as an A1 version, so it wasn’t worth the effort.
I’m unsure whether to keep the RWS with an M2 or install a RWS/J (Javelin) version. Suggestions are welcome.

more pictures with close view some of the parts I designed
I also modified the side stowage racks which are different from the previous Stryker version; this was a cut, sand and paste work.

Looks good. I would add the Javelin if it is a newer version.

Very great, just a little detail: wheels on stryker A1 are like te LAV A2 , drive train and suspensions are modified.
